What I wanted, but...
One of my vintage Visions saucepans (circa 1984) was cracked due to another dish being dropped on it in the sink. I was very happy to find the Corning site in which to obtain a replacement. My order arrived very quickly and was in good condition. The only issue is the size of the new saucepan opening does not match the old lid. It is "close" and I am able to use it, so I do not plan on returning it, but it doesn't make sense to me why this type of change was made. I will also note that the amber color is lighter than my original, so if people are looking for exact matches, they will have to look for a used piece. I am attaching a photo of the new (left) and an old pot to show the color difference and the awkward lid placement.

What you would expect.
The only gripe I have with the product is that pouring liquids out doesn't always go smoothly. In my case, trying to carefully pour water into something else from this pot. Instead of where you want it to go, it goes down the side of the pot.
Love the see through nature of the pot though.

the best
They are very hard too find. I had them for many years. I am on my last one. I live on a low income. But I would get them again. You can't go wrong buying them. I will very soon.

The perfect size Visions saucepan
I have been searching for this size Visions pan for years, ever since I broke my last one.
I have been unsuccessful finding it at the outlets or any local stores.
It is the perfect size, not too small or too large, for family cooking.

I like being able to see
I have had Visions cookware for years. In fact, my daughter in her 40s said "Oh, Mom, you still have the same cookware?" when she visited me some time ago. I always loved that I could see if the sauce was boiling or whatever was going on inside without taking the lid off and looking down from the top. But my Visions all had the Teflon coating and it was starting to come off, plus I had heard differing opinions on its safety, so I decided to buy a new Visions saucepan without the Teflon. It works just as well as the original one. I will get another one when it is in stock.

Love it
The visions cookware was one of my first sets of cookware when I got married. I managed to maintain and keep them until my youngest daughter dropped and broke it. Wonderful set of pots. I absolutely love them. I have my cooking in these pots to a science. I was sooo hurt because at that time they were not sold anymore. Until I visited the corning revere outlet. I was delighted, but surprised at how expensive they had become. I just hope they are as good as before.
