Visions Cookware's see-through design allows for easily monitoring foods while they cook instead of constantly removing a lid to peek inside. For use as an attractive serving dish, two handles, one on each side, make it simple to transport the pot from the oven right to the table. In addition, the cookware reduces the number of pots used by offering the option to refrigerate or freeze leftovers in the same dish they were cooked or to reheat without transferring contents to another pot.
- 5L Round Dutch Oven
- Made of a non-porous glass-ceramic material which won't absorb food odors or flavors or react with acid-based foods.
- Ideal for water-based cooking
- Dishwasher-safe; freezer-, microwave-, oven-, broiler-, and stovetop-safe
- 10 Year Limited Warranty

Disappointed...
The product looks and feels sturdy. I am a foreigner and I had used Corningware products before relocating to the US. You can imagine my letdown when the sauce to the bottom, burnt, on the first use. That was very disappointing.

High utility value
Cooked really well. Rice can somewhat stick to the bottom. Left a residue at the base after dishwasher washing. Too early to comment on longevity. Really like it so far.

Great for soups, stocks, even stir-frying!
Who would have thought? I love stir-frying in this 5L pot. It has ample room and the high sides keep my stovetop clean of splatters. The water heats so quickly, I love using it for making soups/stocks. When stir-frying, I only need to use it up to medium heat or a notch below. The pot conducts heat so well. Just a note: if you have a coil stove, the middle area will be a bit cooler. It took me a use or two to get used to this, but it is no problem at all since I can see through the bottom and know exactly where the burner is and can keep food on the hotter areas if needed. I bought two of these because the size is so useful for a variety of dishes. I am LOVING it.

This is a repalcement of old one that cracked during cooking. I disposed of it without knowing there was a warranty for the product.

Next time, I will saved the defective Visions for a FREE replacement.

The Vision Dutch Oven is just the right size.
The Dutch oven is just the right size
for stews, soups, spaghetti sauce and
other recipes. It also cleans well.
We eat all organic foods so I wouldn't
want to cook in stainless steel pans.
I've tried stonewear pans but they are
very heavy. All the Vision pans are much
lighter. They are great!!

Large enough for big meals
Glass cookware means no exposure to harmful chemicals. The Dutch Oven is large enough for big meals. Great for use on top and in the oven. Can go from oven to fridge (after cooling down) for storage without worry.

Modern styling, same good quality
Our old 25+ Vision gave up a couple weeks ago, so we thought that won't get a new replacement. Until we found this site and with new stock.
It's the same material than the old Vision (now "Visions), made in France, more stylized shape and a lighter color than the old versions. And the plus is that are stovetop glass!
We use for boiling pasta and soups. We are happy with it!

Great for soups and stews
I love cooking in these pots, and I wish the Visions cookware would be produced again. They work well on both propane and wood cookstoves, heating quickly and holding the heat nicely. Very easy to clean as well.
