Steamer is Very Disappointing
I have a 7-piece Revere Ware set and I wanted the Pasta Strainer; with a promotion I decided that the Steamer would be nice to have. The reviews were not good stating it did not fit a pot. I decided to order a larger 3qt. pot and hopefully the steamer would fit. No dimensions were given on-line. Not only did it not fit but none of the lids fit it either. I called World Kitchen & a Corelle Store and both confirmed that Revere Ware does not make a pot or lid to fit the Steamer. This item should not be sold. I will be returning the Steamer.

Practical, versatile
This is a very nice steamer at an affordable price. Unlike many top-of-pot steamers, it has a stay-cool handle, which makes it much easier to deal with when the steamed food is ready. The stepped base make it usable with several pot sizes, which is nice.
A minor gripe is with the website presentation. It would have helped a lot to have the top diameter listed, so the purchaser would immediately know if s/e had a good lid to use with it. Even better, the website could have identified which Revere or Pyrex lids would fit, and offered to sell a steamer-plus-lid package.
