All in all a real good sturdy pot...

I did read many comments, about this exact pot, that showed some people were very unhappy with it. They said that the pot is thinner than their old one. While that is somewhat true,I am glad to say,at least in my case,the pot is very sturdy. It is somewhat thinner than the original. In this day and age that is more the norm. Nothing that will cause your food to burn. I was a bit disappointed w/ the way the handle is no longer secure w/ a screw. It is a sturdy pot by far and w/ the copper bottom it will heat evenly. VERY happy I decided to get it.

Like other reviewers, I too have realized that this new pot is MUCH thinner metal than older versions my dad has back home. It still works just fine, and I love having it, but I'm a bit worried it might warp or something since it is thinner. I would still recommend it tho! I got it with the 2 qt steamer insert, works great! I love being able to steam veggies at the same time I boil pasta.

I have a 3 qt pot and the smaller one (1 1/2 qt.?). I have had these since 1962 - best pot ever to make fudge in. Is there a bigger one than 3 qt available?

The pan heats quickly and evenly. The cover fits perfectly, I just love this as well as all the other pots and pans I have of Revere Ware! The only thing I don't like is the upkeep of the copper bottom, but it's easy to clean just I'm lazy!

I LOVE THE COPPER CLAD COOKING POTS AND HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THEM, MY GRANDMOTHER HAD A SET FROM THE 1940'S AND I ALWAYS SAW THEM DISPLAYED AT HER HOME. I WAS THE ONE ALWAYS WANTING TO POLISH THEM.
I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE NEWER POTS ARE A PRODUCT OF A LESSER QUALITY. THEY ARE NOT AS HEAVY AS HERS OR MY SET THAT SHE GAVE ME IN THE 1970'S. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR QUALITY OF MERCHANDISE. THE NEW ONES FOOD STICKS IN THEM AND IS HARD TO GET OUT. THE INSIDES HAVE TO BE POLISHED REGULARY.

While the order was processed quickly, we noticed that the thickness of the metal is thinner than of the previous 1.5 Qt Revere Ware purchased svereal years ago.

Older Revere Copper Bottom, Much Better!

This product is not made nearly as well as the old Revere wear of old. I used medium heat only and the pot rocked when touched like it was worped. I would stay away from the NEW copper bottom Revere and try to find some of the old stuff, it did indeed last 50 years because they were producting a quality product back then. I was planning to buy a set like my mother has had for years and years but, not after seeing the quality they have today. If I want copper bottom I will have to go to another source. Sorry Revere your just not as good as you use to be......

Not the quality I was expecting from Revere. It is light weight and rather tinney. I would not trust it for than heating water. Food would burn in it.
