Oven-Barbecued Garlicky Chicken Wings
Makes 4-6 ServingsThese wings are so delicious, you'll want to find the little bit of time it takes to make wings "from scratch" at home.
Ingredients
4 lbs. wings, trimmed and separated
1 cup ketchup
2/3 cup white vinegar
2/3 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp salt
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp hot sauce or 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
6 garlic cloves, miced
Directions
- Heat oven to 400°F. Place chicken wings in a single layer in a large metal baking dish or roasting pan. Bake chicken while making sauce.
- To make sauce, place remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
- Pour half of the sauce over wings, and bake 20 minutes. Pour rest of sauce over, and bake another 20 minutes. Serve with blue cheese and celery.
