Devilled Artichoke and Ham Spread
Makes 8-10 ServingsHave lots of this on hand when company comes and it will disappear in no time!
Ingredients
1 (14oz) can artichoke hearts
1 cup finely diced ham
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup diced sweet or dill pickle or sliced olives (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried
1 tsp Russian-style mustard
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Drain artichokes. Chop artichokes finely, either by hand or in food processor.
- In mixing bowl, combine artichokes, ham, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, pickles, basil, mustard and Worcestershire.
- Spoon into buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole.
- Bake in preheated 325 °F oven 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Serve hot or lukewarm with crackers and fresh vegetables.
