THE SCULPTURED OUTSIDE OF THE BOWL LOOKS GREAT.
I RECENTLY USED THE BOWL AND IT WAS GREAT TO MAKE COOKIES AND LATER USED THE SAME BOWL FOR MY FANCY DINNER. Five stars. highly recommended.

Pretty and Functional
Firstly, the inside of this bowl is smooth. I ultimately assumed it would be, which is why I got it, but you can't really tell from the photo- it looks like it might be "sculptured" on the inside as well, so if you were wondering, there you go. I prefer this bowl because it has great function (substantial but not clunky like ceramic bowls), versatility (there are some ingredients that don't do well in metal bowls), and looks (classic but not so boring to me as the smooth sided glass bowls). The size is a perfect mid-size, and is the one I use most frequently. Washes us easily. Good price.

Even better than I hoped
I wanted this bowl as an alternative to the lipped Pyrex bowls I also have. I wasn't sure I would like it, but it was on sale and I wanted to give it a try.
It is already becoming my favorite mixing bowl!
It is a perfect size for much of what I make frequently (tea breads, biscuits, small cakes). I love that is not as wide as the Pyrex, instead being a bit taller and deeper.
Very, very pleased with it.
I wish they made it in a 3-quart size. Since they don't, I may get another this size. :)

lid is available
Cross referencing a review for the 10-cup lid that works with this bowl. The 3-cup one comes with a lid and it was not clear that the 6- and 10-cup ones have matching lids. The ones I bought to try out did work.
While the comments for the lids say fit "dishes", they also fit the sculptured bowls!!!!

I love these clear dishes .
I'm replacing most of my plastic ware with these. They are attractive for serving then I can just pop on a cover to store and I can see what is being stored with out having to open it. I can reheat in microwave with out worry if plastic chemicals are being released.

Great addition to my kitchen
I really love this bowl. It's the perfect size for the two of us and, because it's a lovely, clear glass, I can mix, cook, and serve in the same bowl. This saves me work in both preparation and clean up.

Great bowl
This bowl is a great size. I use it for mixing potato salad, spaghetti with meatballs, etc. Nice big size for self serve items at the table, as well. I have had this bowl for many years and came back for more. I love being able to take it from the fridge to the microwve to the table, back to the fridge. Very versitile.

Awesome Product
The line of Pyrex sculptured bowls are great. For some reason you can only get them mail order as I haven't seen in stores. But the heft and beauty of these bowls are considerable. They are mixing and serving bowls in one. Fantastic product.
