Nice you can put it in the oven as well as good food storage.
I bought this product as a gift. I was looking for glass containers with a tight lid for storage that could go in the oven as well as microwave from the refrigerator. Most lids were plastic and could not take the heat of the oven. I was so glad to find a pyrex product that came with a lid that could take the heat of the oven and that is why I bought it.

Excellent!
Great for bringing home made hot lunches to work and then safely reheating them in the company microwave without the harmful effects of heating plastic or styrofoam tableware.
