I ordered a new Portables as a gift for a friend. She saw my Portables (purchased about 10 yrs. ago) and borrowed it. She was so pleased with it that she asked me to order one for her. I find many uses for my old one. I did have to order a replacement hot/cold liner after the 10 yrs. It developed a leak. Happy to be able to order replacement.

My dog ate my friend's pyrex carrying case so I was looking to replace it. I searched every website to find the best price. World Kitchen had it cheaper than anywhere else and I received it 1 week later!

Another great Pyrex product. This carrier allows you to bring food (hot or cold) to potlucks and picnics. It is also great for keeping food warm when you do self-serve entertaining. The carrier ensures safe clean transport in the car. I have one and I bought one for my mom - she loves it!

I had three pyrex hot/cold portables and I loved them so much that I bought two more this year when I planned on having Thanksgiving dinner at my house. They were great I started cooking everything that morning about 9:00am and had all my cooking done by 11:00am and the hot portables keep everything hot until it was time for us to eat at 12:30pm.

I use 2 of these to transport deviled eggs for Thanksgiving Dinner to relatives every year. Each holds (almost) 18 Deviled Eggs and the frozen ice pack keeps them cool and fresh on the more than 1 hour drive. Then they disappear quite quickly.

I haven't used this product yet. However, a few of my friends brought this product to a covered dish dinner, and I was amazed how long the food kept warm. I'm anxious to try it.

I love this product. It keeps casseroles in place and warm as they are transported to dinners and picnics. The dish is very sturdy and the cover fits tightly. The hot/cold pack has its own pouch and does not slide around. When full, it is a little heavy to carry, but I am very pleased with this product.

I've only used this dish & carrier once so far, but I think it will be a wonderful addition to my kitchen. I carried a breakfast casserole for a teacher PTA function, dropped it off & picked it up. I assume the hot pack worked nicely...got compliments on my casserole! My only wish is that the lid to the dish was a little easier going on/coming off...but then again, you need a secure lid, so I guess that's OK. Overall, I think it will be a good purchase for me & help with getting foods to other places securely & at the proper temperature.
