I love my 8 pc. mixing bowls set. For health reasons I am switching all my plastic bowls to pyrex bowls. I love that you can mix, bake and go to the frig with the same bowl.

I bought these to replace the plastic sets. They are heavier than the plastic; however, they can be used for storing foods in refrigerator and also for cooking in microwave and oven. They are so convenient.

These bowls are great to have to melt and mix and store things in. I like that they come with lids, however the lids are not super sealed so you couldn't but runny liquids in it if you needed a safe travel bowl because it would leak. Also, the biggest bowl is barely deeper than the other bowls in the set, it just is wider.

I've had a hard time finding a really big mixing bowl. This set is great in that it has the larger bowl for things like pasta salad that need some extra mixing room and it has covers for storing or taking along.

Before moving to FL I gave away much of my kitchen ware items, mostly to my daughters. So once I got settled, I realized I missed my mixing bowls. When I saw this opportunity to replace them with Pyrex I was elated. Plus the price was amazing.

These mixing bowls will be nice for storing things in the fridge but they are a bit too shallow for mixing. I wish they were narrower and deeper so the mixer wouldn't splash out as much.

This is my second set of these bowls. They are great for everyday prep but also work well for potlucks. They stack beautifully so don't take a lot of storage space. And, they wash well in the dishwasher.
