I like the magnets in the handles, they do stay together okay, and I love that they come apart (not on a ring) but the cups are made of thin hard plastic and don't seem very sturdy. pretty sure if I drop one once it will shatter and I am careful when scooping because I am afraid the handle will snap off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
