Old Standby
My Grandmother used this same Pyrex measuring cup. Well, not exactly. Her's didn't have the newer type of handle which makes them stack together sooooo nice! I've never had one to break or it's logic board go out, it's hard drive to crash or it's transmission to bring all forward movement to a screaming halt in the middle of no-where!! These cups always give me accurate measurments and total reliability. As a matter of fact, I think they may be one of the most trouble-free things I own. Perhaps I should have bought a few more of them to scatter around the house just to remind me of how life used to be and can be again!!!!!

GLASS is back !!
It was wonderful to able to find a PYREX GLASS measuring cup again. The Pyrex Plastic Measuring Cups were just not the same. The Glass holds the heat, will not Crackle, and its Print won't wash OFF in the washer !! My only disappointment was the new funnel shape... I'm not sure why this was done, but I guess I can get used to it.

Hands down, the best on the market
Somehow my 25-year-old Pyrex 1-cup measuring cup disappeared so I needed a replacement. In stores, the only Pyrex is a new shape, and I wanted the old shape. Another brand was on the shelf, but that cup was so small! There is only room to measure the liquid, not mix it or add another ingredient like in the Pyrex cup. I went online to see if the old shape was still available and I found this website. The prices were fabulous and service was great!

Hard to find product
Great product. My first one lasted 35 years before my dishwasher washed off the red markings. Very happy with the product. Very sturdy. Perfect.

Gold Standard Measuring Cup
A popular cooking bimonthly magazine rates the Pyrex cups as the most accurate on the market. My current Pyrex measuring cups are over 15 years old. These are just as good and I like the graphics better. They're cleaner, more crisp and easier to read. I'm happy to have four of these now as I use them just about daily. Excellent job packaging - heavy duty bubble wrap - all that glass and nothing broken.

1cup measuring pyrex
The cup is very sturdy and will last a long time. If full to the top, it would actually be 2 cups. I guess that the extra space on the top is for the cover which i did not get.
This is actually a 2 cup with 1 cup marking, it is made for metric reading or cup if you are left handed. I ordered a 1 cup because i use 1 cup mostly and it fits in utensil drawer just below counter. However, you cannot see the markings for cup measurement if you hold the handle with the left hand and pour with the right. I prefer the conversing cup where the metric and the cup equivalent is written on the same area of the cup instead of opposite sides. If the same measurements cup, oz, and metric is written on both sides like it is on other brands it would not matter if you are left hand or right and if you use cup or metric. The measuring is important since even though the cup is a 1 cup you cannot dip a cup full of flour, a cup full which is supposed to be a 1cup would actually be 2 cups.
