I ordered the pyrex casseroles in order to make black garlic. The garlic was placed in the dish covered with water and wraped in an electric heating blanket for a few weeks. The casserole dishes performed well, I can not say as much for the electric blanket.

The inside of my microwave is only 11.25" long x 7.5" tall x 11.75" deep but this 2-qt Casserole w/ Glass cover fits nicely. The bowl area is slightly oval shaped, 8.5" x 8.25", and the cover is 8.25" round lip to lip. This works well, by trapping most of the moisture, and venting too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The pyrex casseroles fit into larger decorative pieces perfectly. Food bakes evenly and the containers are very easy to clean. Baked on food comes off without a problem. I have used pyrex for cooking and baking for over 40 years and certainly enjoy their convenience.
