It fits but not very snug. I think it should be a bit smaller.

New life to French White
I love my French White Corningware and have had it for many years. Most of the original plastic lids were starting to show wear or had gotten cracked or accidentally melted over their many years of regular use. These replacment lids have given my French White a new lease on life. I much prefer to use a reusable lid like this rather than plastic wrap or foil that gets thrown away. Thanks for making these available.

It is wonderful to be able to purchase replacement lids like this. I love my casseroles and my lids get hard use as well. The prices for the replacement lids are so affordable! Next time I accidentally lay the plastic lid on a hot burner and melt it....I'll order right away! No need to feel like I have to use the old one until I can buy a new one. Fast service and excellent value will keep me shopping here.

My wife loves them
My wife found at a garage sale a bowl that came with a plastic cover. I saw an opportunity to be her momentary hero, and wrote to Corning ware as to where I might find similar covers for her other Corning ware bowls. They provided very helpful information and I ordered covers to fit all her bowls. This has made her so happy, which benefits me as her husband.
The covers are a great fit, the price is very reasonable.

Product has super features and value.
Very pleased. Fits good. Saves on wrap. Stacking and access in refrigerator is made better. Great for holding freshness. No odor retention.

Disappointed
I was really disappointed with these lids. I purchased them because I had recently purchased a new 1.5 Qt French White and it came with a plastic lid that fit extremely snug. I thought GREAT I will buy one for my other two dishes also, but they do not fit snug at all, they are so lose that they can be lifted off with one finger.

Fit perfectly!
I was concerned about the fit of the lid given that my main reason for purchasing the lid was to keep food fresh. I was very happy with the snug fit!

It Fits!
The lid fits just right. Just what I needed it to do. Now I can store the food more easily by snapping on a lid and moving it to the fridge!
