casserole great - lids changed slightly
I have a large collection of French White pieces with both glass and plastic/rubber lids. A few years ago, I got a couple of these containers with lids, can't remember where or if they were with a larger set or open stock. Doesn't really matter, I guess. I got two more of these pieces with lids recently. The lids were a tiny bit tight. I had to reach for a table knife to act as a "shoe-horn" to get the lids to go on. These containers are great for a lot of uses. I am envisioning making individual casseroles in these - like seafood, fish, individual meat loaf, etc. And they are great, as one reviewer said about taking lunch to work. My only complaint is the lid size is inconsistent.

These dishes are perfect for me .. especially with the lids .. I can freeze and stack ... then to the oven .. super convenient.

Perfect little casseroles
I love my French White oval casseroles with plastic covers, they are the perfect size to take my lunch to work in! I just pop it in the microwave and in a few minutes, I have a hot meal! I really love the great price from World Kitchen too!

The only problen is that the lids are a little too small and will not go on the dishes.
I love the dishes. I am really fond of all Corning ware as it is so versital and is great in the micro.

Very handy and useful
Excellent dishes for preparing ahead/freezing. Use them for Shepherd's Pie, individual casseroles, etc. Attractive for serving as well. I plan to buy more and give them as gifts.

Perfect shape & size
I keep adding more of these to my supply as they are useful for many different things, and the shape and size are perfect for those smaller items. Super easy to clean and of course the quality is unsurpassed.

Perfect for salads, mini casseroles, etc
great price, well packaged, ships fast. Loves these dishes. I use them in dinner parties as individual servings and everyday meals. they hold veggies, au gratin potatoes, chicken casseroles, enchiladas, etc.
