The original GrabIt lids had gotten deformed due to inappropriate use by a visitor, so I went on for years making do with saucers, aluminum foil and plastic wrap. Finally it occurred to me to see if replacement lids were available. I found them quickly online and ordered. When they came, I was quite pleased to see the material used is more sturdy in that they are now microwaveable in addition to being refrigerator and freezer ready. They are handy for reheating in the microwave and neat in providing a stackable surface for my other GrabIt bowl and cover, fitting nicely into the refrigerator.

We've had a set of 6 Corning Grab-It bowls since the late 80's, only 5 left now. Over the years they've been great for everything from cereal to side dishes. They are particularly helpful when heating and carrying soups, stews and assorted pasta or sides that are reheated in the microwave. They are almost all still here as the kids can easily carry them too, and they're tough. I was very happy to find new lids still available as they went by the wayside through years of dishwasher and microwave use.
We use them so often that only one had the Corning label still legible under the handle, allowing me to figure out what lids I was looking for! Great product.

My wish list for an upgrade of this product: a clear window so you can see what is in the grab-it bowl and a more flexible material. As this is the only product offered that covers the grab-it bowls that I love, I purchase these lids. They enable me to cover leftovers in several of the bowls and then stack them in the fridge on top of each other (something you can't do with foil or clear wrap). But, the plastic in this lid is stiff and a little difficult to remove when cold. I also find myself putting masking tape names on the lid so we can all tell what is inside without having to pry the lids off to take a peek. A little redesigning and I would love them more.

I have 3 of the ceramic grab-it bowls and 3 glass lids right now. The two plastic covers I have now are flimsy.
The only thing I'm upset about is that I can't find any more of the grab-it bowls in stores or here at your website.
Why is that I wonder??
