Welcome me back to Corelle
I've had Corelle in the past, as did my parents when I was growing up. A year ago I gave up my Corelle for an other brand. After just a month I realized I'd made a mistake, but until I got the newer "square" Corelle, I did not know how much I loved Corelle, especially these dishes.
These square dished fit nicely in my cupboards, and the bonus 10 oz. bowls are the perfect size for snacks and a quick bowl of cereal.

Plates are defective
Besides I received two broken plates, a lot others were defective with very uneven edges. Seem to be left overs. I had to buy new plates to replace the broken and defective.

Very happy with this product but really need a smaller dessert type plate/saucer to complete the set.

Good for family w/ young kids
I bought this set (with an additional order of the 6 1/2" bread and butter plates) because I want my young children to be able to help set and clear the table -- without me worrying about them breaking dishes. They are perfect for this, as a few have been dropped into the sink without breaking. I don't love the dishes aesthetically, but I do like them for their ease in everyday. The square shape makes them a bit more modern-feeling. The largest dinner plate size seems quite big, though the inner circle is more a normal plate-size. The smallest bowls that came as a bonus with this set are the best size for the kids; the regular-sized bowl included with the set seems pretty large for everyone, but works for the adults. Overall I'm happy with this purchase, and the price makes it all worth it in the end.
The sets and the open-stock plates were shipped very well wrapped and without incident.

Very satisfied
The set was all I was expecting it to be and more. The bonus bowls were great too. It is simple yet elegant , I use them everyday and also when i have company. Very adaptable.

I have always wanted square dinnerware
I got so tired of hefting heavy plates and bowls out of the dishwasher and the cupboard all the time. I can't imagine how
much weight was in my cabinets. I almost bought a set on sale at a department store but wondered how I could get extra pieces. At world kitchen, I got a better price than the department store, with the additional platters and veggie bowls that I felt were important for that "set" feel. I no longer live in fear of chips or cracks. And my dishwasher seems much larger now. My one piece broken during shipping was replaced timely and politely. Thanks for everything. You're in my favorites.
