better dishwasher, needed more plates

My new dishwasher holds far more plates and bowls than my old model - so I wanted to order extra Corelle Square Pure White dishes, above my original set for 8.
These dishes are beautiful, understated elegance; great for kids and everyday use.
It seems that other sizes of plates/bowls are only infrequently stocked in this square shape so buy them when you see them!

I seriously LOVE the coffee mugs. They are practical, pretty, fit in the cupboard well, and wash easily. I use them for coffee, tea, ice water, etc. They hold temperature well also.

I've had several square plates for a number of years. I decided to make a complete service of eight. The plates were a perfect match to the ones that I already owned. Very durable and stands the test of time.

When shopping for new dishes I checked to see which companies had products made in the USA. Corelle has such a wonderful variety, and is very durable. Since I have bought mine I have recommended Corelle to a young woman who loves their modern designs.

Nice as a serving plate too

I keep a couple of these to use as serving plates (or to hold a stack of lunch size napkins) at parties. The square shape gives more plate area without taking up much more room on the buffet table. These don't stack very well with the round plates though. They are about 7/8 inch tall.

i am a large person trying to control my eating habits. these square plates are just right for portion control. smaller then a dinner plate but big enough for a satisfying amount of food. And very stylish to boot.

The only problem I had was that one plate had a defect in the edge, aalmost like it had been chipped and then the finish baked over it. I was not pleased with that one.

My mother always used Corelle so when I saw the square style I had to have it. These bread and butter plates were a great addition to the set I've had for almost 10 years and plan to have for many more.
