fill-in for what aged in-laws use mostly now
I have "LOVED" Corelle for so many years, I have "lost track" of when I first knew Corelle - I guess the 1970's, when I was still in school. The mother of my best friend then, got this same pattern all those years ago. When I started to have my own "place", I got Corelle - Butterfly Gold. These days, my in-laws use the smaller plates mostly & the dinner plates rarely get used. I got these because I was having to hand-wash between loads in the dishwasher. I have purchased these to hopefully give them enough so I don't have to hand wash. Even after 31 years, the patterns on my Corelle are still as vibrant as they were when I first purchased them. It is really really hard to break a Corelle dish & they are thin & light. A person can carry the entire set at one time if that person had to. I'm really surprised this pattern is still available, where my pattern was retired quite a few years ago. I recommend this dinnerware to anybody because the patterns stay; the dishes are light & thin; and, they do break, but very rarely. Finally, they rarely stain either, although I have one dinner plate that has stained.
