we purchased these as diningware for our corporate boardroom in our company. they are large enough to handle corporate lunches, nice enough to present to "influential" guests, and we were able to order them individually which was great as we needed a setting for 12 to accommodate our board table.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I already had the 4 piece place setting that goes with these plates and I really like them. I knew I'd like these too and it gives me another plate size. It's a nice mid-size plate good for lunches. I've used these in the microwave and dishwasher and they still look good as new. The whole set replaced my very old Corelle dishes which are still in good shape. I like the light weight of the dishes and also that they stack in my cupboards in a small space. (up and down)

Corelle dishes are the best for my winter condo. They are light weight, fit into the dishwasher nicely and come in wonderful, colorful patterns. Best of all the color lasts.

Corelle is Corelle. I had been buying it a few pieces at a time when the store I was buying from stopped carrying as open stock. I hadn't completed my set. I had some of this, more of that. I kept looking in stores for the pattern, couldn't find it but hadn't thought to look online. I was able to find the pieces I wanted at Worldkitchen. I even found pieces in the pattern (as open stock) the other place didn't carry. Prices were excellent. I jumped on the chance to complete my set before I could no longer find the pattern. Everything arrived in a timely fashion. Exactly what I ordered in perfect condition. I am well pleased in every aspect.
