Great for microwaving soup & cereal.
I previously had 4 28 oz. bowls, but have now broken them all. I have not been able to find a similar size bowl that is microwavable. These bowls fit the bill perfectly, and are good for warming other foods in the microwave. One precaution: since the bowls are narrower and deeper than previous bowls, the do not need as much microwave time as previous bowls. Overall the bowls are great, light, and good looking.

28 oz soup / cereal bowls
I love these bowls. I use them for everything, salad, pasta, chili and I also use sometimes as a serving bowl. They are a little large for cereal / soup, but they are far more versatile then the 18 oz bowl. I am so glad I order / bought these bowls.

Big but versatile
I purchased these bowls as I could not find country cottage 18 ounce cereal soup bowls on the site, and wanted more bowls. I was surprised at how big these guys are, but have found many uses for them, such as whipping up an omelette, any dish that requires a lot of stirring without spilling, individual popcorn bowls, and that big ice cream treat!
