Lightweight and does not chip.
I have always loved corell. When I needed more dinner plates, I decided to get something different. The first ones were French White, but I wanted some color, so I got 4 dinner plates in Cafe Red. They go nicely with my French White and add the color that I love. What is especially nice about Corelle is that they are lightweight and do not chip easily, a bonus when the grandkids are over.

Color is mismatched
I was very glad to find the Classic Cafe' Red Dinner plates and bowls online because several of the stores I frequent and even an outlet store do not carry this pattern. The plates came quickly and were in good condition, so that was great; HOWEVER, the rings around the rim do not match my existing pattern. They are darker, and, while not a bad color, they just don't match the Classic Cafe' Red Dinner plates I already have. I received extra bowls as well which matched perfectly. My other plates and bowls are only a couple of years old and have rarely been used so it has nothing to do with fading or wear. Someone in quality control might want to look into this.
