Not what i thought
First, i thought since it is corelle, it would be corelle material and not melamine or plastic. I was very disappointed. Next the rest is too deep so can't balance straight spoons. The handle keeps falling to the side.

Plastic
I was expecting stoneware like the Chutney pitcher. This is a little PLASTIC spoon rest. Since, it is plastic it does not match the corell very well and I am sure it won't last very long. I will not buy this product again.
